USC 3434 South Grand

The major renovation of a drab, four-story warehouse/factory building, the 3434 South Grand project created an inviting office/academic venue. Its elegant main facade on Grand Avenue was fashioned by the addition of a new sculptural stair tower and entrance canopy. The voluminous space and proliferation of concrete columns are used as dramatic architectural features and to organize work spaces into a “village atmosphere” partitioned in a “street pattern.”
