Harvard-Westlake - Middle School

Los Angeles, CA

Description:

The new campus is a magical setting that provides a calm refuge in the midst of the world's chaos. Master planned with 165,000 SF of new construction the seemingly traditional-looking campus was designed with a Modernist approach. While the structures are new, the successful design resolution makes them appear as if they always existed in the landscape. The buildings blend into the land's topography opening to a central gathering space. A tower signifies the main entrance preserving a traditional element that connects the school to its rich history.
