Creating an aesthetic and functional environment that enriches a child's educational experience was the primary focus in designing the Curtis School. Defined by the landscape and entered via its own patio, each classroom has a unique sense of arrival while extending beyond its walls into outdoor teaching spaces, increasing each classroom's usable teaching area. A distinct vocabulary of design features carefully creates the child-friendly scale and individual identity of each classroom.
